Railway Board approved a special JPP-RCS train from Budgam in central Kashmir to Adarsh Nagar in Delhi. The new service is aimed at boosting the trade and export of Jammu and Kashmir’s traditional products.

The Northern Railways’ Jammu Division will operate the train, which would run every day. With eight parcel vans and a Seating-cum-Luggage Rake (SLR), there will be plenty of room for cargo. Bari Brahmana station in Jammu would also have loading and unloading facilities to help traders even more. According to the sources, the Jammu and Kashmir Police would be in charge of security measures during the service’s initial pilot phase.
