NPS vs UPS – Which Pension Scheme is Better for Your Retirement?

Описание: The Unified Pension Scheme (UPS) was implemented on April 1, 2025, replacing the National Pension System (NPS) for those who choose to opt in.

We have created a calculator to compare cash flows between NPS and UPS. You only need to enter details such as your age, current salary, projected salary growth until retirement, return on retirement corpus, and annuity rate after retirement. The calculator will then generate your projected cash flows at retirement and at the time of death.

The government, in a press release, extended the deadline to opt for UPS by three months, i.e., until September 30, 2025.
