Our adventure begins in Vaughan, Ontario, where we stayed at the Residence Inn by Marriott Vaughan, a spacious and family-friendly hotel near Canada’s Wonderland. With a full kitchen, pull-out sofa, free parking, and complimentary breakfast, it was the perfect base for exploring the Greater Toronto Area with kids. We also visited Vaughan Mills Mall and Bass Pro Shop, one of the most fun indoor stops for families visiting Vaughan in winter.

From there, we headed downtown for a full Ripley’s Aquarium Toronto tour. Ripley’s Aquarium of Canada, also known as the Toronto Aquarium or Ripley’s Aquarium Toronto Canada, is one of the top things to do in Toronto with kids and one of the best indoor winter attractions in the city.
