There are actually two of them SRC-1 & SRC-2 and means Steroid Receptor Coactivators 1 & 2. These proteins are released from your babies lungs when they are ready and able to breath outside of the womb.

What these proteins do is increase the production of surfactant components. Surfactant is a substance released from the fetus lungs just before birth.

Knowing this is a powerful piece of knowledge in today's society where women are being offered inductions left and right which interrupts this natural unfolding of childbirth.
