i am not throwing away my shot
full ruleset
1) if a Pokémon faints it can no longer be used
2) the first Pokémon encountered on any named area is the only Pokémon that can be caught
2A) Dupes Clause - i can choose to catch another Pokémon if the first one is one I already have
2B) i am not counting gift or legendary Pokémon in this rule
3) all Pokémon must be named
4) set mode is on (i no longer get the option to switch out in-between battles)
5) no items allowed during battles besides Poke balls
6) level caps - i can only level my Pokémon to be equal to the highest level of the upcoming gym
