Описание: বিশ্বের প্রধান গম উৎপাদকদের জন্য ফসল কাটার সময় ঘনিয়ে এসেছে। যে দেশগুলো গম আমদানি করে থাকে তারা বিশ্বে উৎপাদিত ফসলের বাম্পার ফলনের আশা করছে। কেননা এরফলে যে হারে মূল্য বেড়েছে তা হ্রাস পাবে। কিন্তু বিশ্লেষকেরা বলছেন, বিশ্বে ফসল রপ্তানিকারক দেশগুলোয় ফসল কম হওয়ায় সেই চাহিদা মেটাতে পারবে না। তবে একমাত্র ব্যতিক্রম রাশিয়া। এই দেশটিতে প্রত্যাশার চেয়ে বেশি গম উৎপাদন হবে বলে আশা করা হচ্ছে। কিন্তু বিশ্বে খাদ্য সংকটের যে শঙ্কা বিশেষজ্ঞেরা করছেন তার কারণ কি? আজকের আলোচনা এ নিয়েই।
