Описание: Filippo Brunelleschi’s Basilica of Santo Spirito in Florence, Italy, is one of the defining architectural works of the Renaissance. While the exterior of church has little to do with the architect’s original designs, the interior is characterized by elegant grey sandstone columns, rounded arches, classical architectural elements, and rigorous proportional design. All these elements combine to make it – according to Brunelleschi’s biographer – the most beautiful church in all of Christendom!
