Photographing Lord of the Rings Filming Locations in New Zealand (and bad weather in Glenorchy!)

Описание: Landscape Photography in New Zealand Part 2: Landscape photography often depends upon the weather, and when you have a limited time on a particular location this can make life difficult! In this second part of our New Zealand adventure we head to a place called Paradise near Glenorchy (a location used as the backdrop to Isengard in the Lord of the Rings films), but unfortunately, things didn't go entirely to plan! We more than made up for it the following day though when we took a detour to visit Mavora Lakes on the way from Queenstown to Te Anau. This area was used a lot in the Lord of the Rings films, both for the end of the Fellowship of the Ring and for scenes at the edge of Fangorn Forest on the edge of Rohan in The Two Towers.
