Fall fishing for salmon starts in the ocean and as soon as the fish start coming in from the sea. They can be caught near local beaches. The famous Buoy 10 on the Columbia is one of the highlights of salmon fishing in the PNW. One of the most productive fisheries in the nation by chartered and guided boat trips.
Equipment:
Rod and reel - Fenwick HMX 10'-6' med mod fast 8 -15lbs, paired with Daiwa fuego 3000
Rod and reel - Okuma Celilo 9'-6" med - light 6 -12lbs, paired with Shimano Sahara 3000 or also Shimano Tranx 151 baitcaster
