ବରଗଡ଼ ସହରରେ ଆଇନଶୃଙ୍ଖଳା ପରିସ୍ଥିତି ଦିନକୁ ଦିନ ବିଗଡ଼ୁଥିବା ନେଇ ଚିନ୍ତା ବ୍ୟକ୍ତ କରାଯାଉଛି। ବିଶେଷକରି ଅବାଧ ନିଶା କାରବାରକୁ ଏହାର ମୁଖ୍ୟ କାରଣ ବୋଲି ମନେ କରାଯାଉଛି। ଏହି ପରିସ୍ଥିତିର ସମାଧାନ ପାଇଁ ବରଗଡ଼ର ପୁଲିସ, ଜିଲ୍ଲା ପ୍ରଶାସନ, ବୁଦ୍ଧିଜୀବୀ ଓ ବିଭିନ୍ନ ସଂଗଠନ ଏକତ୍ରିତ ହୋଇ ଦୃଢ଼ ପଦକ୍ଷେପ ନେବାକୁ ଆହ୍ୱାନ କରିଛନ୍ତି।
ଏହି ପରିପ୍ରେକ୍ଷିତରେ ବରଗଡ଼ ଓକିଲ ସଂଘ ନେତୃତ୍ୱରେ ଆଜି ଉପଜିଲାପାଳଙ୍କ କାର୍ଯ୍ୟାଳୟ ପରିସରରେ ଗୋଟିଏ “ମାନସ ମନ୍ଥନ” ବୈଠକ ଆୟୋଜିତ ହୋଇଥିଲା। ଏହି ବୈଠକରେ ବରଗଡ଼ର ବିଭିନ୍ନ ରାଜନୈତିକ ଦଳ, ସଂଗଠନ, ବୁଦ୍ଧିଜୀବୀ ଓ ଆଇନଜୀବୀମାନେ ଯୋଗଦେଇ ବର୍ତ୍ତମାନର ସମସ୍ୟା ଉପରେ ମତାମତ ପ୍ରକାଶ କରିଥିଲେ।
ଓକିଲ ସଂଘର ସଭାପତି ଭୀଷ୍ମଦେବ ସରାଫ ଙ୍କ ସଭାପତିତ୍ୱରେ ଆୟୋଜିତ ଏହି ବୈଠକରେ ସମ୍ପାଦକ ଲଲାଟେନ୍ଦୁ ବେହେରା, ସହସମ୍ପାଦକ ବୈକୁଣ୍ଠ ଷଡ଼ଙ୍ଗୀ ସହ ବରିଷ୍ଠ ଆଇନଜୀବୀ ନିଧୁବନ ବିହାରୀ ପଣ୍ଡା, ଅଶୋକ ଯୋଶୀ, ଯୁଗଳ ପ୍ରସାଦ ସିଂ, ଆଶୁତୋଷ ରଥ ମଞ୍ଚାସୀନ ଥିଲେ।
ବରଗଡ଼ରେ ବଢୁଥିବା ନିଶା କାରବାର ଓ ହିଂସାକୁ ରୋକିବା ପାଇଁ ଶିରୀଶ ବଲ୍ଲଭ ମିଶ୍ର, ଲିପସିତ ମିଶ୍ର, ଅନୁପ ଶତପଥି, ରବିନାରାୟଣ ପଣ୍ଡା, ବୀରେନ୍ଦ୍ର ପ୍ରଧାନ, ଭବାନୀ ପ୍ରସାଦ ସାହୁ, ଷୟନ ପଣ୍ଡା, ପ୍ରତାପ ନାୟକ ପ୍ରମୁଖ ନିଜ ମତାମତ ରଖିଥିଲେ।
ବୈଠକରେ ନିଷ୍ପତ୍ତି ହୋଇଥିଲା ଯେ ବରଗଡ଼ରେ ନିଶା କାରବାରକୁ ସମ୍ପୂର୍ଣ୍ଣ ବନ୍ଦ କରିବା ଓ ଏହାର ପଛରେ ଥିବା ଲୋକଙ୍କ ଉପରେ କଠୋର କାର୍ଯ୍ୟାନୁଷ୍ଠାନ ପାଇଁ ପ୍ରଶାସନ ଓ ପୁଲିସ ସକ୍ରିୟ ହେବା ଆବଶ୍ୟକ। ଆବଶ୍ୟକ ପଡିଲେ ଓକିଲ ସଂଘର ପରାମର୍ଶରେ ଆଇନଗତ ଲଢ଼େଇ ମଧ୍ୟ କରାଯିବ ବୋଲି ସଦସ୍ୟମାନେ ମତବ୍ୟକ୍ତ କରିଥିଲେ।
ଶେଷରେ ବରଗଡ଼ରେ ନିଶା ବିରୋଧରେ ସମସ୍ତେ ଏକତ୍ରିତ ହୋଇ ସଂଗ୍ରାମ କରିବା ପାଇଁ ପ୍ରସ୍ତାବ ଗ୍ରହଣ କରାଯାଇଥିଲା।

Concern is growing over the deteriorating law and order situation in Bargarh, with the unchecked drug trade being cited as one of the major causes. In response, police, district administration, intellectuals and various organizations have called for united action to tackle the problem.
Under the leadership of the Bargarh Bar Association, a “brainstorming meeting” was held today at the Sub-Collector’s office premises. Representatives from different political parties, organizations, intellectuals and lawyers participated in the meeting and shared their views on the issue.
The meeting was presided over by Bhismadev Saraf, with the presence of Secretary Lalatendu Behera, Joint Secretary Baikuntha Sarangi, and senior advocates including Nidhuban Bihari Panda, Ashok Joshi, Jugal Prasad Singh, and Ashutosh Rath.
Participants emphasized the need for strict action against drug trafficking and violence in Bargarh. Speakers including Shirish Ballabh Mishra, Lipsit Mishra, Anup Satpathy, Rabinarayan Panda, Biren Pradhan, Bhabani Prasad Sahu, Shayan Panda, and Pratap Naik also shared their views.
The meeting concluded with a resolution to unite against the drug menace and demand strong action from the police and administration. Members also suggested that a legal battle could be initiated with the support of the Bar Association if required.
