We're heading off for two weeks in tropical Far North Queensland. Australia is truly a blessed country where you can be skiing in the south in the morning, jump on a plane, and be swimming on the beach in the tropics in the afternoon. We haven't flown in a plane for quite some time so we splashed out for business class tickets on the Qantas service to Cairns.

For our first two nights we'll be staying at the famous Reef House in Palm Cove (of course, in their cheapest room) as well as setting off to explore the region of the Atherton Tablelands which is just brimming with easily accessible natural wonders to explore. Reef House Palm Cove was also recently awarded Best 5 Star Accommodation in Queensland.
