Shaykh Dr Mansur Ali has studied classical Islamic studies both in UK as well as Egypt. He carried out post graduate studies in Islam at the University of Manchester. Currently he is a lecturere in Islamic studies at Cardifff University and is a visiting lecturer in many other institutions. He is an expert in bio-medical ethics and has special research interest in Organ Donation and Islam.
Dr Mansur Ali delivered this talk at the BIMA organised organ donation awareness programme in Newcastle upon Tyne on the 23rd of June 2019 titled "Let's talk about organ donation" in which he explores the various fatwas on organ donation and dispels the misconceptions prevelant in the Muslim community.
