-- PROJECT BACKGROUND:

The project was devised and produced by John Hamlett, a filmmaker who grew up in Kirkby and works on numerous heritage projects supported by Historic England, the National Trust, the Yorkshire Dales National Park and other funders. This project started as a passion project with the first interview shot in 2013. The project was completed thanks to the support of:
