Prosecutors argue he ignored warning signs about his son's mental stability, while defense lawyers say the gift was intended as encouragement.
Colt Gray, accused of planning the Sept. 4, 2024 shooting at Apalachee High School in Winder, Georgia, faces 55 charges including murder and aggravated assault.
The tragic incident left two teachers and two students dead, with several others wounded.
