I decided not to do the normal editing because it seemed useless when every stop was damn near invisible, so enjoy this rather relaxing trip on the CityLink SILVER on a Saturday afternoon in January.
It isn't the winter season without a long-overdue snowstorm in the month of January. A projected two-feet of snowfall accumulated in Baltimore, as well as, much of the eastern-half of continental US. For many, this was a blessing to take a break from normal work... not for us.
This was a relatively lay back shift as I gradually navigate through the powdery white streets of Charm City while putting this newbie to the test in these mildly treacherous elements.
There were various detours that are activated anytime the forecast calls for a snow advisory. Now, these are the OBVIOUS detours due to unpredictable terrain that haven't been pretreated, but there were some that would have made no difference anyways. It was pretty fun traveling at a casual pace with very little headache beyond whatever hinders my path.
In case you were wondering, yes. I did eventually get this bus stuck in a deep snow-patch on my last trip from Morgan State University. Fortunately, I had some courteous contractors shovel me out before MTA's recovery team could arrive. It took 45 minutes but I wasn't left stranded.
