Hairspray – Prologue into “Good Morning Baltimore” | Live Drum Cam | Encore Performing Arts (2017)

Описание: I performed Hairspray, one of my all-time favorite shows, during the weekend of July 21–23, 2017, playing drumset with Encore Performing Arts at the Dr. Phillips Center for the Performing Arts in Orlando, FL. We played to a sold-out audience in the gorgeous Walt Disney Theater, and it was an unforgettable musical experience.

This video captures the opener of the show — the Prologue into “Good Morning Baltimore.” I recorded it using my Zoom camera, so this is a true drummer’s-eye view of the performance. The camera wasn’t connected to the house mix, so what you’re hearing is mostly my drums, the monitor mix, and the instruments surrounding me, with the cast vocals audible in the room.
