Is the Metaverse the Future of Learning?

Описание: Virtual worlds, recently called “metaverses,” are becoming more mainstream, and they’re changing the way that people work, learn, and play.

In this video, we’ll consider what the future holds for instructional designers, educators, and anyone else interested in teaching and learning online.

Since the tech isn’t exactly there yet and adoption is not mainstream, nothing is definitive. We’ll explore a few different metaverses and evaluate some early experiences. I’ll also share some of my thoughts and the possibilities that I’m most excited about.
