Описание: excuse my appearance, I would care but for the benefit of anyone judging I'll tell you why I don't:
1. I've been in bed all day, exhausted (but I'm chilling though, grateful for the opportunity to rest after working so much)
2. The music is far more important than my appearance, & if you're here you should know that
3. Honestly I bumped this just & no one can tell me I didn't 😂 even the imperfections, or the moments I didn't deliver how I would've wanted to, I will use as guidance towards mastery of this song.
See the important thing is always to try, then you find out where the kinks are, & you iron them out over time as you keep trying.
Approaching my craft this way requires a great deal of patience, but the rewards are that after so many tries, I can take on a challenging song like this & get really close to "perfection" (which is just the truest expression of my soul) in a short amount of time. I spent about 20-30 minutes maybe figuring out how to play this before I recorded this take. And since I'm tired, & I have other needs to reconcile, I'll let this live here & listen to it when the mood strikes me. That way I'll memorize it, the good parts will get stuck in my head, & I'll keep working on this cover over time.
I always want to document my creative process because we can all learn from understanding each other better. Refining my own process happens by becoming aware of it, & by studying the processes of those who truly inspire me. So thank you to Brent Faiyaz for being one of those artists.
