Technically speaking, this is not a video player, but a picture viewer — just a very fast one.
In the video above, you can see a slideshow consisting of 3,444 images, which originally were 16-bit BMP files, then converted to 160×100×4 GIFs, and finally converted into A16 format and packed 150 images per file into A6P containers.
What you’re watching here is the playback of 22 A6P files.
The program supports an unscaled 160×100 display mode, centered on the screen — exactly as shown in the video.
The color palette is limited to 4 CGA colors: black, magenta, cyan, and white.
The music you hear in the video was added during video editing (to make it more pleasant to watch).
The program itself does not generate or play audio — at least for now.
