It was a year. With a roster of established names, the latter half of '20 witnessed the world premiere of    • CheesicScan 5: The Movie (The Cheesasaurus...  , and by that point I already had a loose idea in mind. Work began in earnest, four days later. Audio came together first, and visuals followed shortly after, leading to a scheduled upload not long thereafter

Plans initially ran further, including a prepared bridge verse, and another thing that did not quite come together in the way I hoped (and would later take clearer shape in someone else's hands, via    • Cheesasaurus Rex OP - チーササウルス・レックス  ). In hindsight, choosing to rein it in was the right call. In fact, what started there turned out to inform a good portion of what I've gone on to do since. If not for this fact that "ipod stuck on replay-oni" laid the groundwork for adapting pop songs, reshaping their lyrics more freely, pairing them with custom subtitles, recurring visual gags, and loose throughlines also assembled through sentence mixing... there wouldn't have been much to build on, and this is exceptionally true when it comes to the follow-up:    • hh don't lie
