Missile Shot Down Near Riyadh — Coalition Intercepts Houthi Strike

Описание: Overnight, the Saudi-led coalition said Yemen's government army intercepted and destroyed a Houthi ballistic missile aimed at Al-Kharj Governorate — about 80km southeast of Riyadh, home to the Prince Sultan airbase jointly run by Saudi and US forces. Coalition spokesman Turki al-Maliki announced it early Sunday; the claim has no independent confirmation yet. It came hours after Saturday's deadly strike on Riyadh's King Khalid International Airport: 12 killed, 309 injured, per Saudi Arabia's aviation authority. A senior Houthi official told the New York Times his group was responsible for the airport attack. President Trump said the United States may join Saudi Arabia in striking the Houthis.
