My life as a dermatologist is made easier by my nursing staff. To be trained as a top quality nurse in laser and aesthetic dermatology takes at least 6 years. There are no short cuts, and learning is continuous. Every few months there are new lasers, energy devices, fillers and new methods, and techniques- that is why I love what I do. Its an ever changing field.

Nurses like Rachel undergo a training program, and can perform procedures such as Botox, Fillers, lasers including tattoo removal, vascular and pigment lasers, miraDry, eMatrix, RF, skin needling, PRP, Coolsculpting, Body Contouring, and another dozen procedures. They undergo a strictly documented training program, to ensure that procedures are carried out to the highest and safest standards.
Dermatology nursing is a fun field of medicine if you like hands on work, and of course technology. There is no finish line.
