Reserva Natural Especial del Malpaís de La Rasca.

Municipio de Arona, isla de Tenerife, provincia de Santa Cruz de Tenerife, Islas Canarias, España.

Sólo 150 m. pero se obtienen magníficas vistas de la zona desde la cima de éste volcán con forma de herradura. Ya mordido por la excavadora en su extremo más oriental y con una pista descendente hacia el límite de la Reserva Natural, justo a la altura del Faro de Punta Rasca. El retorno fue junto a la ladera sur del pequeño volcán hacia el principio de la urbanización Palm Mar, pudiendo ver de cerca las largas tajeas que durante siglos pasados transportaron el oro líquido hasta un desierto tan alejado, sorprendente como mínimo.

Only 150m. but magnificent views of the area are obtained from the top of this horseshoe-shaped volcano. Already bitten by the excavator in its most eastern end and with a descending track towards the limit of the Nature Reserve, just at the height of the Punta Rasca Lighthouse. The return was along the southern slope of the small volcano towards the beginning of the Palm Mar urbanization, being able to see up close the long strips that during past centuries transported liquid gold to a desert so far away, surprising to say the least.
