The biggest challenge that the Aptera solar EV will face is starting production and making enough cars, not only for the 35,000 customers who have already pre-ordered their Aptera, but also for those who are going to come on board when they see that the Aptera dream is becoming a reality.

Here's how it's going to happen: In the first year, Aptera will focus on getting their production rate up to 40 cars a day per shift in their initial facility, or a run rate of 10,000 cars a year. After that, they can look at expanding to more shifts per day, then to a bigger facility to increase their run rate.

My biggest challenge personally, is I can't wait to see production started, as I have set myself the challenge that I won't place a pre-order until this channel is monetised.
