With wireless power, slip ring applications are possible without any wear and tear or rotational cycle limits.
In the demonstration, the wireless power transmitter is below the sea water tank, and the wireless power receiver is embedded with the fans and placed on a floating acrylic tray. When the wireless power receiver is within range, the power is automatically transmitted, enabling the fans to rotate the platform.
