We know that we get quality work, but its done in a shorter time frame because multiple hands are working at one time. You can accomplish more in one setting, than you could safely if you had a single surgeon having to perform all those different parts of that procedure.

Also, what you bring into the procedure, makes a difference in how safe things are. Different health concerns can really change how your outcome goes. We need to be aware of all of that before hand.
At our facility, we do a preoperative history and physical, with our physician's assistant, who knows exactly what we're looking for that could cause problems in the postoperative period.
