To the north-east of Perth lies a 3 732 acre park containing a variety of bushwalks, play spaces, animals, and... transport! Yes, this is Whiteman Park, the home of the Bus Preservation Society of Western Australia (BPSWA), Bennett Brook Railway, and a heritage tramway, as well as many museums. This video just quickly explores the 4 kilometre heritage tramway line, running from Village Junction to Mussel Pool.
UPDATE DECEMBER 2024:
I have joined the Perth Electric Tramway Society in February 2024, and am now qualified to drive these trams around Whiteman Park and along the new extension to connect with Whiteman Park Station on the Ellenbrook Line. Expect a video about this to be posted soon.
