Many stories of risking people’s lives in the Mediterranean Sea (considered illegal for all who come from countries under war, but it’s almost the only choice to reach safer shores) have influenced Makimakkuk to write Gara2 and to perform it on Al-Nather music.
The sound of the word *Gara2 in Arabic language means drowning.
