Harmony Day celebrations are well and truly underway in Sydney. The Parliamentary Secretary for Multicultural Affairs and Settlement Services, Laurie Ferguson, joined hundreds of people at the Belmore Sports Ground to enjoy the perfect combination of cultural diversity, football, music and dancing.
The event proved an exciting milestone for 10 people from as many countries, who became Australian citizens amid the colourful festivities.
