The lively and constantly growing resort of Playa del Carmen is one of the best and most popular on the famous Mayan Riviera. You will find it about 50 kilometers south of the international airport in Cancun, the largest city on the Yucatán Peninsula. Directly opposite the resort in the Caribbean Sea is the island of Cozumel, another tourist paradise in the Mexican state of Quintana Roo. The connection between them is of course provided by a ferry, which was also at the beginning of the development of this holiday resort.
The almost endless coast of Playa del Carmen is lined with the most beautiful beaches far and wide. The water here is truly crystal clear, like in catalog photos, the sand is white, as befits and belongs to the true Caribbean, and the necessary service in the form of sun loungers, umbrellas and refreshments is also taken care of.
