Are you tired of opening the browser every time to access your OneDrive files? Want a quick way to manage your cloud storage just like a folder on your PC?
In this video, I’ll show you how to map OneDrive as a network drive in Windows. Let’s dive into the step-by-step process.
1. Log in to your OneDrive account in a browser.
2. Click on "My Files" in the left menu.
3. Copy the URL from the address bar.
4. Paste the URL in a Notepad.
5. Remove everything before “cid=” in the URL.
6. Copy the cid= value for eg “EAF3XXXXXXXX” (without quotes).
7. Type this URL in Notepad: https://d.docs.live.net/your_cid_here
8. Replace “EAF3XXXXXXXX” with the actual CID value.
9. Open File Explorer on your Windows PC.
10. Click on “This PC” from the left menu.
11. Click on “Map network drive” from the top menu bar.
12. Choose a drive letter (e.g., Z:).
13. Paste the modified WebDAV link into the Folder box.
14. Check the box “Reconnect at sign-in.”
15. Click “Finish.”
16. Enter your Microsoft account email and password when prompted.
17. After successful login, your OneDrive will appear as a network drive.
Now you can access your cloud files just like your local ones.
