Sometimes, the smallest and most fragile lives require the greatest kindness.
On my way to college, I found a tiny, hairless kitten. Many people shunned it because of its appearance, but I couldn't let such a fragile creature pass me by. Even if it was only for a short time, I decided to take it home and care for it.
A visit to the vet revealed that the cat had a fungal skin infection called athlete's foot, which had caused severe hair loss. With patient treatment and daily care, the cat gradually recovered.
At first, I planned to find Lucky a new home, but Lucky eventually became part of our family. Now, Lucky is healthy and beautiful, living peacefully with our other cats.
This experience reminded me that all life, no matter how fragile or imperfect, deserves a chance.
