Priyanka Gandhi Vadra Slams Amit Shah After No-Confidence Motion Defeat

Описание: Congress leader Priyanka Gandhi Vadra criticised Union Home Minister Amit Shah after the no-confidence motion against the Lok Sabha Speaker was defeated in Parliament.

The motion was voted down due to the majority held by the ruling alliance. After the voting, Priyanka Gandhi objected to remarks made by Amit Shah during the debate.

She clarified that the no-confidence motion was directed at the Speaker and not at Rahul Gandhi, and questioned why the discussion was diverted to Rahul Gandhi’s attendance in the House.

Priyanka Gandhi also said that the Home Minister misused certain words during the debate and asked why the Speaker did not intervene.

The debate in Parliament saw heated exchanges between the government and opposition before the motion was finally defeated after Amit Shah’s reply.
