A Message for When You’re in “The Gap” Season

Описание: Recently, I was reflecting on some major life disruptions and losses my family has faced over the last few years.

And the Lord impressed something on my heart:
𝗦𝗼𝗺𝗲𝘁𝗶𝗺𝗲𝘀, 𝘄𝗲 𝗰𝗮𝗻𝗻𝗼𝘁 𝘁𝗮𝗸𝗲 𝗼𝗹𝗱 𝗯𝗹𝗲𝘀𝘀𝗶𝗻𝗴𝘀 𝗶𝗻𝘁𝗼 𝗻𝗲𝘄 𝘀𝗲𝗮𝘀𝗼𝗻𝘀.

What was once the best thing for you was still a blessing.
But God is always doing something new, and the hardest place to be is in what I sometimes call the 'gap':
That space between where you were and where He’s taking you.

It’s hard because in the gap…
✨ You’re losing things you once prayed for
✨ You don’t always get an explanation
✨ You grieve the absence before you see the new thing

But here’s what I know:
You can endure the gap, and even learn to wait well.

I'm sharing a few quick strategies:

🛠 3 Strategies for Enduring the Gap

𝟭. 𝗙𝗼𝗰𝘂𝘀.
What you focus on grows.
If you spend your energy on what’s not working, the gap will feel heavier.
Shift your attention toward what’s still possible.

𝟮. 𝗦𝘂𝗽𝗽𝗼𝗿𝘁.
A problem shared is a problem halved.
Reach out. Share your fears and overwhelm with trusted friends, mentors, or a supportive community.
You weren’t designed to carry this season alone.

𝟯. 𝗦𝗽𝗮𝗰𝗲.
God is always speaking, but we can miss His voice when our lives are too full.
Slow down. Make intentional space for the direction and encouragement you need.

If you’re in a gap season, please know:
💛 You’re not alone.
💛 You’re not failing.
💛 God is still working behind the scenes.

𝗦𝗮𝘃𝗲 𝘁𝗵𝗶𝘀 𝗽𝗼𝘀𝘁 𝘀𝗼 𝘆𝗼𝘂 𝗰𝗮𝗻 𝗰𝗼𝗺𝗲 𝗯𝗮𝗰𝗸 𝘁𝗼 𝗶𝘁 𝘄𝗵𝗲𝗻 𝘆𝗼𝘂 𝗻𝗲𝗲𝗱 𝘁𝗵𝗲 𝗿𝗲𝗺𝗶𝗻𝗱𝗲𝗿.

And if you don’t have a friend who can drop Heaven’s message into your day, let this be it:
𝗜𝘁 𝗱𝗼𝗲𝘀 𝗴𝗲𝘁 𝗯𝗲𝘁𝘁𝗲𝗿. 𝗞𝗲𝗲𝗽 𝗴𝗼𝗶𝗻𝗴.
