Dr K. Chad Clay (Director of the Center for the Study of Global Issues (GLOBIS) and an Associate Professor of International Affairs at the University of Georgia) and Anne-Marie Brook (co-founder of the Human Rights Measurement Initiative (HRMI) and founder and CEO of Rights Intelligence), unveils the Rights Intelligence dataset to the academic community and invites those interested in using this data in an upcoming new research network.

This network is poised to ignite cross-disciplinary collaboration in human rights research, with a specific focus on unravelling the intricate connections between human rights, economic and financial market performance, and sovereign fixed interest returns.

Representing a landmark in comprehensive country-level human rights data, the cutting-edge Rights Intelligence dataset spans 15 years, encompassing approximately 190 countries with country performance scores on three main categories of human rights (economic and social rights, safety from the state, and empowerment rights) plus a combined composite score for each country.
