This area is hidden in the heart of Jakarta, surrounded by buildings in a densely populated neighborhood. It truly is a precious gem, accessible only through a secret entrance of a private residence. Surrounded by a concrete jungle in this tropical city, it is heavily affected by the urban heat island effect, making the heat increasingly oppressive due to climate change. To address these challenges, the architects have skillfully designed a solution that harmonizes with the climate. This place is not just an environmentally friendly haven but also offers a sense of comfort, built using local materials and simple techniques crafted by the hands of the community.
