Connecting California is a new grant program created as part of What We Share: Culture. Community. California— Connection, our reframed program strategy that orients how our programs are designed, connected, and delivered to communities across the state.
PROGRAM PURPOSE
To support public activities and events that build
social connection, understanding, empathy, and trust across difference to unlock California’s true potential.
WHAT ARE QUICK GRANTS?
Two-month turnaround
Multiple deadlines per year
Up to a year to complete
$1,000 - $5,000 grants
Grants must be matched one-to-one by non-federal cash and/or in-kind contributions
