This week I received a text from my 14-year-old granddaughter that stopped me in my tracks. She orchestrated a necklace for me—poppies engraved on the front, and on the back: “I love you… and I’ll see you everywhere.” Adam’s last words. She even placed a small vessel with some of Adam’s ashes inside.
It reminded me of something we forget in grief: parents are not the only ones grieving. Children, grandchildren, siblings, friends—everyone carries loss in their own language. And when we share remembrance, we create exchange: love continuing, moving outward, witnessed in community.
This video is about expanding the love through shared memories—how “sightings” (a poppy, a song, a place, a phrase) can become a bridge instead of a private ache. Witness doesn’t erase grief. It reduces isolation—and it helps love have somewhere to land.
If you have a “sighting” of your person today, share it in the comments. Say their name. Let love move.

Today I’m holding an “Adam sighting” close: poppies + a necklace engraved with “I love you… and I’ll see you everywhere.” 🤍📍
If you feel comfortable, share a sighting of your person below—something you saw, smelled, heard, or remembered today. Say their name. One sentence is enough. We witness each other here.
