US is protecting Kagame's genocide in DRC

At a recent EFF press briefing, Julius Malema delivered a scathing indictment of Rwandan President Paul Kagame.
Malema condemned Kagame for the deaths of South African soldiers deployed in the DRC and for his crimes against humanity in the DRC that have claimed millions of Congolese lives. He described Kagame’s role in eastern Congo as part of a wider project of exploitation, where violence is used to secure access to strategic minerals for Western powers, including European states, Israel, and others that have historically benefited from Congo’s resources.
Ironically, after the Tump-mediated peace deal, the Rwanda-backed M23 killed dozens and displaced more than 200,000 people. Malema says this would not be possible without Kagame enjoying full protection from the US and its partners.
