This is a fire damage clean we recently completed following an air fryer malfunction in the customer's kitchen. It took about 5 days in total to clean the whole property. A very specialised type of clean but very rewarding. Everything was cleaned from top to bottom, including the walls, ceilings, upholstery, rugs, carpets and even the laundry! We were able to fully clean and deodourise all of the furnishings and carpets to alleviate the smoke odour. Any remaining soot deposits were eradicated by using a process called "fogging". The method used was thermal fogging, which releases a liquid vapour to encompass everything little gap and crack that cleaning may not reach. Our family team at North Star Cleaning all helped out with the cleaning works and even the ladies had some on site training with rug cleaning!
