8 EARS of CORN, shucked, washed and cut off the cobb like my video
2 tablespoons BUTTER
2 teaspoons BACON GREASE
pinch of SALT
Fresh Ground PEPPER to taste
Heat skillet and melt butter and bacon grease in it. Once Melted and the skillet is hot pour the creamed corn in. You should hear it sear and fry a bit as it pours into the skillet. Salt and Pepper to taste. While stirring cook for a minute or two then cover and turn on LOW for 15 minutes. Stir occasionally to keep it from sticking. Uncover and cook on low another 5 minutes or so to let the liquids evaporate. Turn off the fire and let sit 5 minutes to let the corn thicken. Enjoy!
