Every one knows there's no party with out chips and dip, and today I'll e showing you how to make 7 layer dip thats even BETTER than salsa. This 7 Layer dip is made with refried beans (frejoles) which give it such a nice creaminess and richness. This dip is one of the reasons why I LOVE Mexican food.
Ingredients:
THE GUACAMOLE
1. 4-5 small avocados
2. salt to taste
3. Juice of one lime
4. 1/3 cup of chopped cilantro
5. 1/4 of a red onion
THE REFRIED BEANS (FREJOLES)
1. Half a red onion
2. 2 cloves of garlic
3. 3 tbsp olive oil
4. 29 oz can of refried beans (You will only need half the amount for the dip but put all of it and you can store the other half in the fridge. It's great for eggs
TOPPINGS
1. 1/2 cup sliced olives
2. one diced tomato
3. 3 chopped green onions
4. Mexican blend cheese, or cotija cheese upon prefrance
