Описание: The Pittsburgh drug trials of 1985 were one of the wildest in MLB history. Players such as Dave Parker, Lonnie Smith, Rod Scurry, Keith Hernandez, and Tim Raines fell victim to the drug. Seven people would be charged and convicted including Curtis Strong. The trial and the actions taken by Major League Baseball can be seen as the precursor to the steroid era. This opened the door for players like Barry Bonds, Sammy Sosa, Mark McGwire, and Jose Canseco to start taking steroids.
