Information:
The constantly evolving melodies, tempos and rhythms of a hard-to-define set from Dekmantel label artist Thessa Torsing are as unconventional as they come. For the first time, she performs live with multidisciplinary artist Diego Grandry. For this live-performance upsammy and Diego will remix environments, questioning the relationship between the digital and the natural world. Diego does this by hacking game engines to generate new surroundings and upsammy manipulates found sounds into digital ones, creating a new world at the cross-over between the acoustic and the synthesized.

Background information Dekmantel Connects:
Between December 14th and 23rd 2020, Dekmantel Connects offered a carefully curated programme covering a broad spectrum of electronic music interests. Dekmantel Connects stimulates thought and conversation, offers ideas for aspiring music professionals as well as enjoying music, all while making connections between different aspects of the (electronic) music world.
