"Not entirely un-interesting" Jackson MRL Elevator at the Premier Inn Hotel in Lancaster

Описание: [Recorded 6/7/19] I am putting "Not entirely un-interesting" in quote marks from now on because its a quality line that I feel that I can re-use and is such a good line it deserves to be in quote marks! (It isn't really that special a quote is it XD)
On the face of it its just a Lester Controls lift with Magnetek VF but there are a couple of interesting things about it. After some careful analysis of the sound and indicator behaviour during the upward journey (i.e. listening to it and thinking), I have deduced that this one does that thing where it goes at a reduced speed when going up or down one floor, a slightly faster but still reduced speed when going up or down two floors, and at its top speed only when going its furthest distance of 3 floors. I really don't see the point in that as it just makes the lift less efficient when it needs to make many stops but there will be some deep-rooted reason. The other interesting things are the floor signs with the braille on the external door frame which you don't actually get particularly often in the UK, and those Panachrome light-up door sensors which I always like, and which the proper name of them escapes me right now. The chime is pretty nice and I think there is actually a fail on 1 where the up and down buttons are wired the wrong way around but I can't 100% remember if that is the case or not, I only vaguely remember discovering that while recording some form of video or something I think.
