In this video actually stepped in procedures necessary to replace the rear shocks on a Chevy Silverado and GMC sierra years 2014 through 2018. Overall the job is pretty easy the only tool is really going to need is a 21 mm socket in the 21 mm wrench. You can use the half inch ratchet however I’ll be using a half inch impact gun which makes the job go buy a little bit quicker. I have not had very much luck with cheap aftermarket shocks absorbers for these trucks. He seem to last only a few months after use an even shorter when towing with heavy loads. Do you self a favor and check out the links below for a good quality shock observer. I recommend either KYB or Bill Steen 5100 series shocks. Depending on if you had a lift or not you may need A longer Shopkins order to allow for the greater amount of travel that your rear truck s A longer Shopkins order to allow for the greater amount space needed.
