This is the first race of the Can-Am Challenge of 1986 with the man of the hour and the centre of this channel as the main contender of the race: Horst Kroll.
Kroll took the checkered flag in his Frissbee-Lola in 1h 07m 28.879s with an average speed of 98.380 mph.
Bill Adam in the #38 car who was also racing with Kroll Racing came in second at 1h 07m 30.28s.
Mauro Lanaro took third with the #7 car from Travelsaver.
