Right at the beginning Nathan gives a hand signal for "wind speed 65." This is the slowest I've ever flown on my back and it means I'm finding the spread-eagle maximum-lift posture that iFLY coaches use to do their "backfly rocket" from the net to the louvers at the top of the tunnel. This body position combined with higher wind speed is the secret sauce for the rocket.
At 1:54 he's giving the signal for "wind speed 76." We're gradually creeping up toward speeds where I can sitfly off the net, learning to maintain stability and control every step along the way.
For a few seconds at 1:44 I'm actually doing something that you'd recognize as "skydiving," which is not too common in the tunnel these days.
