Day 40: Rest Day in Sarria

Описание: Having covered 664 kilometers, there are 114 kilometers still ahead of me on the road to Santiago de Compostela. For countless pilgrims, the Camino de Santiago is a path of religious devotion, but my reasons for walking are rooted elsewhere. It’s the transcendentalist in me that finds solace in the rhythm of each step, the beauty of the land, and the quiet reflection that only solitude can provide. As someone who doesn’t find faith in traditional belief systems, I seek a kind of clarity not through religion but through a deeper connection to nature, the camaraderie of fellow travelers, and the inner peace that comes from the journey itself. It’s this pursuit of personal meaning and discovery that pulls me back, time and again.
