The purpose of an inner sleeve is to protect the vinyl record from dirt and scratches and to help keep the record from damaging the outer jacket in the form of splitting.
This is a design of my own creation that I made because I wanted to free up more of my money towards purchasing actual records instead of sleeves. I looked it up, but couldn't find a satisfactory tutorial for making 12" record sleeves on Youtube. (Well there was one, but I don't have a soldering iron.)
I hope you find this guide helpful, feel free to offer design critiques or ask for clarifications in the comments. I may make a video on my design process later on if I run out of other ideas.
